They recently did an update that changed how the pictures are loaded. Once you load the picture the bottom quarter of the screen is now taken up with the color palette. With this you are unable to see the whole picture unless you shrink it down making it hard to see the smaller areas to color. It's a real shame because this was a really good app.

While I'm coloring it keeps glitching while I'm scrolling through pictures

While I'm coloring it keeps glitching

Just started using Macabre coloring app and I love the bright bold pictures but every time I start trying to color a picture it freezes and I have to try again another day only for it to freeze again after just coloring a few numbers. I read the reviews before downloading the app because I don’t like wasting my time unnecessarily when there are other coloring apps that don’t have any issues. So, despite the bad reviews I decided to give it a try only for it to happen to me. Obviously, there’s a fix for it because many of the other coloring apps work just fine without having the same frustrating experience. It would be a fantastic coloring app if only the freezing glitch could be fixed.

Please don’t advertise this as having no adds if the first thing I am forced to see when I open the app and prior to opening every picture it’s guess what… ADDS!!! The app is good but I don’t enjoy being lied to, hence 1 star.

Generally love this app. It can be very calming (except when there are tiny slivers that are almost impossible to find). My one major issue with it is the terror tab. I love everything scary and dark, but in what universe are Betty Boop, Harley Quinn, or Jack Skellington terror???

I enjoy the app but I get annoyed with the way the rewards stop the coloring, also there was a flashing issue at some point. I have been trying to color but the obstacles happening I have been deleting the app and reloading it. Very annoying

“I SEE!” that YALL HAD… “FIXED THE BUG PROBLEM!” 😳😲😃👍❤️😀… And… “THANK YALL!!!”…. SO, MUCH!!! 🙏❤️

Paid for no ads and there is still ads return my money now garbage app!

So far I’ve had zero ads and I love it! Coloring is supposed to be relaxing without being interrupted by annoying ads and this game gives you just that. Definitely recommend!

AWESOME APP 👍… “BUT!!!”….. * RECENTLY… IT HAS: “BEEN ACTIN’ “SUSS!!!” (Short for: “SUSpect!” or “SUSpicious!” 🤔) * “I HAVE A PHOTO, to “SHOW PROOF!!!”… * SINCE I “CAN’T SHOW PHOTO!”… I WILL “GIVE YOU A DESCRIPTION”…. * It’s… “A WHITE SCREEN”… * IN THE MIDDLE of the WHITE SCREEN… There’s “A SMALL, ANIMATED TV… GOING UP & DOWN… In THE MIDDLE of the TV SCREEN… There’s A GREEN LINE 🟢….LOOKIN’ “LIKE THIS!!!” 👉📈 * THAT’S ABOUT IT… PLUS, “THOSE ANNOYING, LYING, TELEMARKETING ADS… “THEY GOTZ… “TUHH GO!!!” 👍👉👉🚮🗑️👍

Why am I still getting ads popping up when I paid the activation fee not to?

I really love this app, but it’s constantly freezing/glitching out during the middle of a picture and then you have to close out completely, get back in, and then watch a stupid ad before restarting the picture. Other than that, I do like it.

Love the pics. Easy to use but I’ve had to delete and reinstall the app. While coloring, numerous times, the app freezes, the screen will shake. Waiting doesn’t work. You either have to back all the way out, watch the adds over and over or delete and reinstall.

But can’t because as soon as I get to number 2, the picture freezes and I doesn’t fix itself. I have to continually exit and go back in. Not worth the time and effort when it’s so annoying to try to use.

This used to be my go to app, and a favorite. I even paid for a VIP subscription. However, the other similar apps including your own fantasy one include unlimited free hints with the purchase and this one does not. I either have to pay extra for certain numbers of them or watch ridiculous video ads to get a few free ones (and you are constant bombarded with a link to do that while coloring). If I'm paying this much to subscribe, hints should be included as they are with almost all other similar apps. You also need a way to disable the constant prompts to watch videos for free hints. I am constantly having to dismiss it, and it's annoying and disruptive.

I love this app!!! I’ve played with a few of these color by numbers apps and the pictures that have blended colors always come out the best. It seems that all of Macabre’s pictures are blended, so they come out beautifully. Beware the tini tiny spots that hide though. If that color doesn’t disappear, you missed it somewhere!

It keeps freezing up my iphone so much to the point sometimes I have to figure out how to reboot my phone because it’s totally frozen. And sometimes the screen just starts jumping around. I actually came back to look for an update. Other than that, it would be one of my favorite apps for coloring.

I downloaded it because I like Halloween coloring and stuff and within five minutes of color my screen froze up so bad that I couldn’t even turn my phone off

This was an ok app, a lot of fun stuff for Halloween, but the recent pic that was just released today that had Trump’s name on a tombstone in the background was just in poor taste. Everyone, especially developers, need to keep their political opinions to themselves, if I don’t care what a celebrity’s opinion is, why would I care what a pathetic, nobody of a game developer thinks? Deleted and good riddance.

I love this app. But the bugs kill my soul. I wanted to rate it three stars then two and now I don’t even want it… it freezes my entire screen and when I finally get my phone turn off or respond the app just crashes entirely and starts rapidly blinking back and forth between a bright white screen and then a blue screen it needs to be worked on and the constant ads for every single picture and the the ad brakes I the middle when you get the gift are too much… from the starting point having an ad to the finishing point is fine to having an ad is fine but throwing in that unnecessarily ad in middle when you select ‘no thanks’ after getting the gift the player really didn’t want… is too much maybe?..

Love the pictures. I love weird and macabre and Halloweeny stuff. But why give the option to get more hints if it’s just going to say “ad wasn’t ready yet” when you tap the “claim” button? Makes zero sense.

Art is beautiful but ap glitches and freezes constantly!

I absolutely love the designs to paint, great artwork. Ever since I paid for no ads app continues to lock up. I almost have to shut my phone down to get it to go away! Very annoying! I heard there was an update to the app but no such thing has happened to fix the bugs nor will it let me get to the developer page 🤷🏻‍♀️

It’s a cute coloring app, and I would keep it, but the ads are annoying. It advertises that it doesn’t have ads and you don’t need Wi-Fi., etc. but Not only are the ads with every photo, but they get stuck. I just wish they would’ve been a bit more honest.

Great artistry however the app continuously freezes and has to be reset over and over. Would love it but probably won’t continue to use since I can’t get through a few minutes before the app crashes

I honestly don’t usually leave reviews on apps but this one is worth it! It does have some ads but not a horrific amount, and all of the ones I personally have gotten are very short. The app itself has an amazing variety of pages to choose from and all of the ones I’ve done so far are stunning. I would definitely recommend it for anyone who struggles to fall asleep like me, the paint by number is interesting enough to want to use the app, but can be relaxing enough to help you sleep, so ten out of ten for me!

App has a lot of bugs since latest update. It freezes and causes my phone to freeze.

I really liked the collection of images and theme, but 2 min into starting my first coloring screen jumped and froze. Closed the app and restarted, but it happened again, so I had to delete

I really want to like this app but when I pick a picture to do, an ad for another game comes up and it NEVER goes to the coloring picture. I’ve set my phone down and went and made a cup Of coffee and the ad was still going… I never got to color.

This is my favorite app and I would use it for hours of if I could, but the glitching and freezing are regular occurrences that really interrupt my ability to use it for days on end. If that were fixed, it would be PERFECT!! Love everything about it otherwise and wish the freezing/glitching would be repaired.

I hate it when ur in the middle of a picture ads pop up. Plus they pictures are a little ridiculous.

Too many ads, app freezes up and crashes my phone

Great app but it freezes constantly

I really like this game and I’ve been playing it for about six weeks. I would normally have given this game five stars except for the fact that there’s a section that pops up and tells me if I wanna get three free hints to click on the ad when you click on the ad portion it says no ads are available so consequently, you can’t win any free hints. I have purchased some hints and they’re not that expensive but they will be if I have to continue to purchase them.

The coloring is good, but the app keep hanging up. I’m hoping this is fixed soon, I like this app a lot.

I LOVE THIS APP. PLUS I LOVE SKULLS. IT’S A MYST HAVE & PLUS ITS FREE..!!! GREAT JOB & KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK..! THANX AGAIN :)

Macabre Color paint by number It’s so much fun to play. It’s perfect for someone with a gothic side that they might want to keep to themselves; but it’s also got many simple, humble, and beautiful Christ-affirming pages to color that are appropriate for any ages. I love this app!!

Love the pictures but the app constantly crashes my phone when I start a picture

I love the edgy, dark pictures and vivid colors! Please do not change the theme of the pictures one day randomly as has recently happened with TWO other similar apps. There are people who truly enjoy a different genre and you have a great mix of pictures. Not just a carbon copy of all the other apps. I would’ve given five stars if the subscription were truly ad free or there was an option for a truly ad free subscription.… meaning the hints. Really hoping that changing the theme of these apps without notice isn’t a way to get people to download a sister app and pay for another subscription. If it stays truly “Macabre” coloring, then it’s worth all four stars and maybe another half of a star. If this review is on an app with nature or fashion pictures, then you have been warned!

I like the pictures they have but every single time I use this app, it completely locks my phone up after about 6 or 7 minutes. I had this problems months ago and retried this app and it still does it.

I got this app about 2 days ago and have been playing it the whole of the 2 days and it keeps freezing, then does a strobe thing, which causes me to get a little bit of a headache. Other than that, when it works correctly it is fun to use.

i’ve had it less than an hr an hour and it’s crashed twice. no other games do that on my phone. i like the images though

Don’t get me wrong, the pictures are great, but the actual coloring sucks. One large canvas to color and you have to hit different sections like 100 times from the way they set it up. And you have to zoom in all the way to try and see the part you missed and even then you can’t actually see it.

Big 1Alesha and Geieaiasshas or how to been sop in Geieaiasshas has in love say really ❕⚠️⛔️🔰❕⚠️⛔️⚠️🔰❕⚠️⛔️⛔️🔰❕⚠️⛔️⛔️⛔️⛔️🔰⛔️❕⛔️⛔️⛔️🔰❕⚠️⛔️⛔️🔰 no problem don’t team up.

I hate commercials. Why not offer a monthly fee, like $14.99 or something to color without commercials. I may be a little devil but don’t like skulls. I would not be unhappy with a few less skulls.

I LOVE these pages and it is my favorite coloring game. However, it freezes all the time and glitches out my phone to where it takes several minutes for my home page to even come back. My phone is new, it has had all of the updates installed on both the phone and the app. Very frustrating and honestly sad because this is my favorite. I guess on to find a new one. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Every time I try to color something the app freezes and I have to restart my phone.

I have had this app for quite a while and absolutely loved it. Now I can’t color more than a few squares without it freezing! I even uninstalled it and that didn’t help. Makes me sad because I love the designs!!! Hopefully it gets an update soon and the freezing stops!!

Still have some bugs to work out I paid 9.99 and it glitches and freezes my phone
