Today I opened the app to play and noticed I lost nearly 1800 hints I had earned. Many of these earned by watching 30 second videos. All of my statistics were also gone. Now after years of playing my daily challenges are all “Easy” because it assumes I’m a new player. Your advertisers need to be aware customer will no longer need to watch 30 second commercials if points are taken from them. PLEASE PEOPLE DON’T WATCH THE 30 SECOND ADS FOR EXTRA POINTS. MAYBE ADVERTISERS WILL ABANDON THIS APP AND FORCE DEVELOPERS TO ADDRESS CUSTOMER COMPLAINTS.

The app has recently started shutting down on me in the middle of games, not saving entries made. I’ve tried using their “Customer Service” chat- no response. Really good game, but I’ll stop using it, and patronizing their advertisers, unless it is fixed soon.

It’s a little harder than I thought. At least now even the easy one is hard. But I’ll catch on!

After each game, ads for other hames come up without a way to exit. Every click goes to the get app screen. Can’t get out of the ads, and after 1 game and 5 minutes of ads I give up. The game is excellent but not worth the ad frustration.

I have been play this game for a long time. I only play on the extremely hard level. It challenges me to do better.

This is my favorite game I play it every day

No one needs to be stuck in an ad you can’t get out of or anything longer than 15 seconds. Ditch the ridiculous ads.

I love the game. I purchased without ads I enjoyed playing until I realized that I was getting the same games repeated. Then it was frustrating because I had solved that puzzle before

Used to enjoy it. But recently it is requiring I view very long ads (running several minutes) to play.

I have had this app for years and haven’t stopped using regularly. Unfortunately after the latest update it crashes on my iOS 15.CCK and never starts.

I have loved playing this game, however the ads have become overwhelming. They are now before and after each puzzle. Many take 4 or 5 clicks to exit from them. The ad I had this morning after my first puzzle was more than 2 minutes. Way too much.

I got to do one puzzle and then was blown away by endless game adverts. I couldn’t get back without deleting the app

The game is great. HOWEVER, start the game watch two ads. Pause the game, even by accident, watch ads before you restart. Ads, ads, ads. Sometimes I even have to cancel the application to get out of the add.

So hard to do

I’ve been using this app for years but recently there are so many ads (especially body shaming ads) that I can’t opt out of. Even after the entire ad has run. This needs to be fixed or at least improved or I will delete this app

Do not download this app

I love this app and play every day. However I am getting very frustrated by the 2.5 minute ads by Gundry. I know you don’t control what ads are on but this is ridiculous. I’m getting so annoyed with this that I want to find a new app. PLEASE to something to control the length of ads permitted. Thank you

Something has happened. I noticed someone else also is having issues at the same time as me. What has happened to the events in this app? This is one of the better apps and I really like it. I’ve been paying a yearly fee because I like this app so much. Please fix it! Please start the events again!

The ads are so persistent and annoying that I no longer want to use the app.

The game is OK, but the ads it shows can’t be skipped.

Had this app for years, but only like playing on killer mode. For some reason I can’t change the daily challenge to killer mode any more and it’s tedious to complete them. Now it just gathers digital dust

The game is currently non-functional on my iPhone. After the recent update it now crashes on launch.

The latest update has caused my Killer Sudoku which I’m paying extra for to CRASH! It will not open. Please fix especially since I’m PAYING to play. Thank you.

Not sure that I will continue because the number and length of the ads. I really like the game challenge.

I love the game and pay for it every year, but now there are so many ads that it is frustrating to play. No time to look and think between ads. I am considering canceling it. It is so frustrating

It seems there are at most 150 variations of expert puzzles which is pretty disappointing. I’ve played the game for a long time but running into the same puzzle multiple times has finally made me decide to delete it.

This was the best of all the Killer Sudoku apps until a couple of weeks ago. Up until then you could close and restart the app to skip ads. Now, no matter how many times you restart, the ads are still there. And not just short quick ads like the better games show. These ads last for at least a full minute. I’m on the lookout for a new go-to app!

Ads are unavoidable with free play but these latest ads are ridiculous! There is NO WAY TO EXIT THE AD!!! Tried clicking on the ad and let it load all the way. Exited the ad and guess what, the AD WAS STILL THERE. I clicked on the ad four times and the same thing .in the mean time, the timer was running while trying to get out of the ad. I also tried exiting the game and reloaded it, SAME THING!!! THE AD WAS STILL THERE - NO WAY TO GET TO THE GAME! Please get this fixed!!

Whatever “bugs” you fixed last week destroyed this game. Not sure what was broken, but I wasn’t having any problems. I can’t play any game. Goes to some stupid ad and can’t get out of it. Have no clue if it cleared my history since I can’t play. It doesn’t appear to impact the challenge games, just the daily and the NEW games that you can play. PLEASE fix this game. It was always my favorite . . . until now.

Used to be ads would be able to x out, now they just lock your screen and not allow you to play the game. I didn’t mind the ads before but this is rediculas. Deleting it.

I loved playing this game, but now there are so many ads. Some of the ads get stuck on a black screen and the only way to fix it is to completely turn off my iPad. They ruined a great game!

I’m so bummed but the ads on this app never close and I’m concerned they are trying to load a virus onto my tablet. I have deleted this app for now. I may try to play it again when a new update comes out. The update from APR 2 did not resolve the issue.

I love this game - have been playing it for years & am a very loyal user. But I’m having the same problem as another reviewer. As of 4/2025, it keeps throwing up ads that take up more than the full screen. They won’t play out or go away and I can’t close out of them. I have to reboot every single time. Please fix this problem!!

Has been fine until recently - now unable to get out of ad screen without restarting iPad. Too bad.

I love this game, but the new adds lock it up and cannot be closed out. The game is now un-playable. I have alerted the game developers, but no response and the game will not go past the adds.

Advertisers have taken over the game and it is unplayable. After years of playing it I’ll have to move on. A shame that the designers are not paying attention.

As of April 2025, Somehow ads took over and 90% of the time when I open the app to play, an ad appears and there is no way to close it. It doesn’t even go away after a minute. I have closed the app and reopened it, that worked maybe 40% of the time, either opening the app to let me play or displaying an ad that can be closed. This happens again after I complete a game. And when am forced to close the app, I loose my reward I earned in the game. I have deleted and reloaded and still having this issue. Before this problem, I really enjoyed this app, but now, I am deleting it and will find a different app.

And the virus is McAfee. I don’t possess McAfee on my device but I can’t play a game without it dropping me into a McAfee scan. The only solution is to delete your app. Bye bye. So I tried it again and no more McAfee and because I like the game and things went pretty well as the ads were bearable for a while but lately not so much. In fact the ads seem like the only reason to come and its a fight. There’s no turning them off or geout of them. I’m done

Once you start enjoying it and doing harder levels — more ads, including in the middle of a game.

Such a fun puzzle game. Only problem is that after playing for a few months I have the dozen or so puzzles almost memorized. It reduces the challenge to say the least. I will continue to play, hoping that you can increase the number soon.

Too many interruptions for ads.

Just a constant stream of ads between games and during some games. I’d be happy to pay for this game if it would eliminate the ads.
